Wesley Kennedy is a Master’s student in German and a Graduate Teaching Associate. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in history education and music with a minor in TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages) from Lee University. He also holds a Master’s in Biblical Studies from Lee University. His academic interests include linguistics, second language acquisition, and language pedagogy. His MA thesis considers how “language play” can be used to develop instructional materials, which focus on vocabulary acquisition. He formerly taught German at Bradley Central High School in Cleveland, Tennessee, and music at the European Theological Seminary in Kniebis, Germany.
